Prospect Ave Project

This 3-floor property was challenging considering that the house is over 100 years old! We chose to do this home in a farmhouse style, and designed the first floor to be an open living room/dining room. We also added a half bath on this floor. For the kitchen we used shiplap with white shaker cabinets. Beautiful open shelving, using old reclaimed barn wood, was the element that originally established the design for this kitchen. Another exciting feature is the barn door leading to the laundry room/mud room.

 

The second floor has three bedrooms and an renovated black and white bathroom. We took this home to new heights, adding a third floor master retreat! This floor used to have 8ft ceilings; however we wanted to take advantage of the roof line by creating a vaulted ceiling. There is also a large walk-in closet and amazing master bathroom with a walk-in shower and gorgeous wood vanity.
